Lettera dattiloscritta del vice-console americano a Napoli, William E. Cole jr., a Raffaele Nardi per informarlo sull'esito di alcune ricerche su di lui compiute negli archivi del Consolato Generale:
"... risulta che voi siete nato in Hartford, Conn., il 7 agosto del 1916 e che tornaste in Italia nel 1920... da questi suddetti Archivi di questo Consolato fino al 1940 mi risultate celibe...".
Su carta intestata del Consolato Generale Americano; in calce, firma autografa del vice-console.
