TIENTSIN
SECONDA GUERRA SINO-GIAPPONESE
POSTI DI BLOCCO GIAPPONESI AI TERRITORI BRITANNICI
Fotografia d'epoca corredata di timbro datario e didascalia dattiloscritta coeva:
"The Japanese blockade of British and French concessions in Tientsin started on June 14, when Japanese sentries were posted at barricades at the entrance to the concessions and food was prevented from entering. Those going in and out were searched rigorously - in many cases complete stripping and other indignities being resorted to - and notes of protest and negotiations in an attempt to put an end to the trouble have been proceeding since. Associated Press photo shows: Japanese troops manning a barrier leading into the British concession in Tientsin on June 16. it is at such barriers that persons entering or leaving the concession have been searched and stripped by the Japanese or their Chinese puppet police".
