"The beauty of the Opole Region. The beautiful little town Paczkow in the Opole province is one of many places certifying to the Polish character of this region. Paczkow had been founded in 1254. An ancient Polish settlement was later on transformed into a fortified town. From that time are dating the ancient ramparts, the town hall, three town gates (Wroclaw, Klodzo and Zabkovice Gates) as well as other numerous monuments preserved till the present time. On the picture: a fragmentary view of the town with the historical Zabkowice Gate (in the background)".
