"Fun at the Fair - The Last Mile. New York: One of the most startling shows at the Amusement Center in the New York Wordl's Faire is the act put on by 'Gang Busters' 35 times a day. The act is a grippingly-realistic depiction of the electrocution of a condemned murderer. Floyd Woolsey plays the part of the condemned man. He is shown here being escorted to the electric chair, which emits flashes as the current is turned on. Spectators usually come away from this exhibit resolved that crime does not pay".
