[...] The prize goes to the author who, at the annual meeting of the association presents the paper 'contributing most to the Science of Pharmacy'. Mr. Thompson, 24 years of age, is the youngest man to ever receive the award. Mr. Thompson winning paper had as its subject 'The Pharmacology of Ergot'".
